The KTAK Reactive Target System I found that more and more of my time had become focused on training and this lead to questions about how and what I was training with.   And since I didn’t like what was currently available I built a better mousetrap… The KTAK Reactive Target System is unlike anything you have ever used or trained with.  Simply put, it does things that no other target system currently on the market is capable of.  More reality, less pretend. It is a multiple hit, multiple reaction steel knockdown.   Target has to be hit multiple times (round count is adjustable) for knockdown plus it has a secondary reaction, a vertical drop. It is a multi platform target that is fully rifle, pistol and shotgun capable. I would like to give them more than their due since they all are extremely generous with the sharing of their knowledge and experience, yet they frequently prefer to remain quiet about what they have to offer so I must respect that.  As one of them once told me he is only where he is at because of the people that came before him.  Which also holds true for me, as I too would not be where I am at if it wasn’t for others…. Why the Kitchen? Mainly because I have a rather dry sense of humor that I inherited from the best, my Dad.  But also I am just another guy who happens to have started out on the kitchen table.  And when you think about it, pretty much everybody started out that way.  Just who hasn’t taken something apart on Mom’s kitchen table?  And while I don’t work on that table anymore, it is a good reminder of where I and a lot of others come from… Lots of good things happen around the kitchen table, including the topic of targets, training and other such stuff.  So pull up a chair, time to talk….
